As poets, we often spend hours writing without even noticing how much time has passed. Sometimes we get so involved in a poem that we forget to take a break. After a long writing session, though, the neck pain, shoulders pain, back pain, wrists, or even head can start hurting.
Ive noticed that emotional pain is something we often write about, but physical pain can also become part of a writers everyday life. A little rest, stretching, changing posture, and taking regular breaks can sometimes make a big difference.
But what if the pain becomes strong or keeps coming back even after these simple measures? In that situation, it may be better to talk with a doctor rather than simply trying different medicines on your own. If the doctor feels prescription treatment is appropriate, they can recommend what is suitable and explain how it should be used. Any prescription pain relief medicine should be obtained through a legitimate pharmacy and used exactly as directed.
Sometimes the best thing a poet can do for their next poem is simply take care of themselves first.
